Personally there for you!
For large or mechanically sophisticated clocks such as grandfather clocks and regulators, or even high-quality mantel clocks, not only the selection of the right model plays a role, but also the professional installation and commissioning on site. This is exactly where our assembly service comes in: we accompany the last step from the delivered product to the fully operational clock with the necessary understanding of the special features of these types of clocks.
The assembly service is not an additional product for us, but part of the overall service. For goods valued at €1,500 or more, we provide this step as a free service. The aim is not only to simplify delivery for you but also to ensure that your clock is correctly set up from the start and runs reliably. Please note that this service is limited to the assembly service and travel costs are calculated depending on the distance. We will discuss the travel costs when you purchase the clock.
Professional assembly and careful commissioning
After delivery, the clock is positioned at the intended location and professionally assembled. Especially with grandfather clocks and regulators, correct placement is crucial, as even small deviations can affect function and accuracy. We therefore ensure a stable stand, correct alignment, and all preparatory steps necessary for safe use.
This is followed by the commissioning of the clock. This includes, among other things, the alignment of relevant components and the preparation of the clockwork for operation. The aim is to put the clock into a state where it can run reliably and consistently – without you having to deal with technical details or sensitive components yourself.
Setting and explanation of clock and mechanism
An essential part of the assembly service is the initial setting of the clock. Basic functions are checked and set to ensure stable operation. Especially with mechanical clocks, a certain understanding of how they work is helpful, which is why we consciously take time for a brief, understandable introduction.
You will receive a calm explanation of the most important elements of your clock – from handling the movement to basic operating and care instructions. This way you will know what is important in everyday life and how you can use your clock reliably in the long term, without feeling insecure or doing anything wrong.
For which clocks the service applies
The assembly service is limited to clocks with a value exceeding €1,500. This includes, in particular, grandfather clocks, regulators, and high-quality mantel clocks, as their size, weight, and mechanical construction place special demands on transport, setup, and commissioning.
We offer the assembly service for these models free of charge. Smaller clocks or more compact models generally do not require comparable effort and are therefore not part of this offer. This keeps the service focused exactly where it is truly useful. Please note that this service is limited to the assembly service and travel costs are calculated depending on the route. We will, of course, communicate the travel costs precisely in advance.
For goods valued at €4,200 or more, travel costs are also waived for distances up to 300 km from Osnabrück.
